Coco Davis was a fictional character featured on the popular 1980s sitcom The Golden Girls, portrayed by Charles Levin. Coco was a homosexual who served as the girls' cook. He only appeared in the pilot aired that September, but since the character of Sophia was such a runaway hit with test audiences, he was scrapped from the series with Sophia in large part replacing him (with many of the one-liners meant for Coco rewritten and added as Sophia's dialogue).
