Jack, Dorothy's date was a character who appears in the Season 6 episode of The Golden Girls titled "Wham, Bam, Thank You, Mammy". The part of Jack is played in the episode by veteran stage/film actor Richard McKenzie.

In the episode "Wham, Bam, Thank You Mammy", Dorothy shows disgust over Sophia's meddling concern about her love life, or lack thereof, in her eyes. In her way of trying to help Dorothy, she contacts a dating service, and through the matchmaker, or the person who works at the dating agency, Mrs. Contini (played by Peggy Rea) they arrange a date for Dorothy, Jack, through the profile which Sophia gave Mrs. Contini; Dorothy is matched up with Jack, who, unbeknownst to Dorothy and Sophia, has spent time in prison for embezzelment; the two have a wonderful time on the arranged date, but, when he reveals his criminal past to Dorothy, she becomes furiously angry with Sophia.
