Greta Wagner is Michael Zbornak's fiancee's mother. Greta arrives at the Miami house prepared to meet an African American family, yet is surprised to see that her daughter Lorraine is engaged to a "white boy". She has two sisters, Libby and Trudy. At first Greta is very displeased with the wedding announcement, simply because of their different race. She was portrayed by Virginia Capers.
