The Triangle was the fifth episode of Season 1 of The Golden Girls, also the 5th overall series episode. Directed by Jim Drake, and written by Susan Harris and Winifred Hervey, it premiered on NBC-TV on October 19, 1985.

SummaryEdit

Dorothy is dating Sophia's new doctor, Elliot Clayton, who later makes a pass at Blanche. When Blanche goes to Dorothy after Rose insists, Dorothy dismisses the accusation because she thinks Blanche is envious, and calls her a slut. Blanche orders her to move out, however, when Rose forces Elliot to accidentally admit the truth while Dorothy secretly listened, Dorothy and Blanche reconciled their friendship, while Dorothy ended her relationship with Elliot.
